The Bash every August hosts over 400 of our teachers & their families to come hear MTR updates, catch up with old friends, and feel encouraged heading into the school year. Did you know many teachers don’t have access to a working copy machine? This is a huge stressor when trying to print resources for their students. MTR provides access to two free, high-speed copy machines for all residents, grads & alums, 24/7. Fund free copying for MTR teachers—a small gift that makes a big difference every single day.

MTR hosts Summer Camp Fellows as they build community, mentor Memphis students, and learn research-based teaching practices. Since 2009, each class has been gifted a matching sweatshirt for Christmas as a way to celebrate being halfway done with the year.
