Justice Work
Educational inequality is one of the greatest human and civil rights issues in America today.
We will keep serving, working and leading until all students are educated with great care and intention by exceptionally trained teachers and leaders. While there are many systemic inequities, MTR aims to address inequities within education in Memphis. Educational outcomes are tied to markers of well-being such as health, income, and vocational choice / opportunities. Therefore, the pursuit of a more equitable educational landscape in Memphis is a choice to honor the dignity and value of the whole of each person.
